TriMX opens first scrapyard after year delay

NEW YORK Atlanta-based TriMX International LLC has opened its first metal scrap recycling facility in Macon, Ga., more than a year after plans for the yard were first announced.
TriMX purchased the 29.3-acre property, which includes a 300,000-square-foot warehouse, last year (amm.com, May 1, 2012). The company initially planned to open the scrapyard before the end of 2012, but the demolition of an abandoned water treatment facility at the site caused delays.....
