Anglo American’s met coal division earnings slide 38%

SINGAPORE Anglo American Plcs metallurgical coal business posted underlying operating earnings of $98 million for the six months ended June 30, down 38 percent from $159 million in the first half of 2012.
The division posted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) of $383 million, up marginally from $379 million in the same comparison.....
