Alba’s earnings slide in qtr. due to low aluminum tags

SINGAPORE Aluminium Bahrain BSCs (Albas) second-quarter net income was hit by unrealized derivative gains and low London Metal Exchange prices, the company said July 28.
The company posted net income of $55 million during the quarter, down 42 percent from about $95 million in the same period last year, on sales fell 0.5 percent to $520 million.....
