PKC wins $16M Deutz auto supply contract

CHICAGO — Deutz Corp., a German manufacturer of diesel engines, has awarded a $16-million contract to PKC Group Oyj, a Finnish supplier with an office in Farmington Hills, Mich., through the Pure Michigan Business Connect program.

Deutz initially connected with PKC Group at a Detroit Regional Chamber Connection Point supplier summit in 2011. Such state and regional events serve as purchaser-supplier matchmaking engagements that provide procurement opportunities to Michigan companies.....
