Century Aluminum loss nearly triples as weak market, LME weigh

CHICAGO Century Aluminum Co. anticipates higher aluminum prices despite global economic uncertainty as well as the potential impact of proposed warehousing changes by the London Metal Exchange.
The Chicago-based aluminum company conceded that a strong U.S. dollar had hurt commodity prices, but said that solid U.S. transportation and construction markets had offset Chinas slowing economy and struggling markets in Europe and elsewhere.....
