Water reform bill slated for House review

NEW YORK Steel industry-backed water infrastructure legislation will be considered next month by the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and Republicans are preparing to push the measure forward in the fall.
The Water Resources Reform and Development Act aims to strengthen water transportation networks by streamlining the federal project delivery process, according to the House committee. The bill would not, however, appropriate specific funds for projects, a committee spokesman told....
