Stainless scrap prices follow LME nickel higher

NEW YORK Stainless scrap broker/processor buying prices have increased slightly on the back of an improvement in nickel pricing, although August demand appears consistent with July.
Prices for 304 solids rose to $1,230 to $1,300 per gross ton from $1,210 to $1,275 previously, while 304 turnings increased to $1,075 to $1,140 per ton from $1,075 to $1,120 previously. Dealer buying prices were unchanged, with 304 solids steady at 40 to....
