Spirit to divest plants, delays qtr. results

LOS ANGELES Spirit AeroSystems Inc. plans to shed its Oklahoma operations as part of a "broader strategic and financial review" at the company.
The Wichita, Kan.-based aerospace subcontractor, which postponed the filing of its second-quarter financial results, said it had engaged the services of an investment banker to sell its Tulsa and McAlester plants. The two facilities were among the Spirit operations affected by....
