ENRC hikes HC ferrochrome, manganese ore output

LONDON Eurasian Natural Resources Corp. Plcs (ENRCs) saleable production of high-carbon ferrochrome and manganese ore rose year-on-year in the second quarter, while production of some other ferroalloy products fell amid lower demand.
The FTSE 100-listed miner reported that overall saleable ferroalloys production rose 2.4 percent in the second quarter compared with the same period last year.
The London-based company posted saleable high-carbon ferrochrome production of 283,000 tonnes for the quarter, up 6.7 percent from 264,000 tonnes in the same period last year, and up 2.3 percent from the first quarter of 2013.....
