Vale’s copper output hits record in 2d qtr.

SÃO PAULO Vale SAs copper output reached an all-time high in the second quarter due mainly to the ramp-up of its Brazilian and Zambia operations.
The Rio de Janeiro-based miner produced 91,000 tonnes of the red metal during the three months ended June 30, up 30 percent from 70,000 tonnes in the same period last year.....
