Haynes’ quarterly results hurt by nickel prices, destocking

NEW YORK — Haynes International Inc. cited lower nickel prices and continued destocking in the supply chain for lower sales and earnings in the three months ended June 30.

The Kokomo, Ind.-based company posted net income of $5.3 million for its fiscal third quarter, down 61.4 percent from $13.7 million in the same period last year, on sales that fell 12.7 percent to $123.6 million.....
