Automaker investments to top $5B in 2013

CHICAGO Honda Motor Co. Ltd. plans to spend about $215 million on new powertrain technologies and a technical training center at its engine plant in Anna, Ohio, particularly to boost capacity for aluminum die cast parts.
Hondas early-August announcement puts the total investment pledged by the eight top-selling automakers into the U.S. market at more than $5 billion since Jan. 1.....
