Tree Island shipments climb as US construction improves

NEW YORK Tree Island Steel Ltd.s second-quarter shipment volume increased 12.3 percent from a year earlier thanks to increasing demand in U.S. markets.
The Richmond, British Columbia-based companys revenue rose 2.5 percent to Canadian $40.6 million ($39.4 million) in the three months ended June 30 from C$39.6 million in the same period last year as shipments increased to 29,160 tons from 25,965....
