First Nickel blames low nickel prices for loss

NEW YORK First Nickel Inc. has blamed low nickel prices for its net loss in the second quarter, leaving the company looking to manage costs in a low-price environment.
The Toronto-based company posted a net loss of Canadian $16.5 million ($16 million) for the three months ended June 30 on revenue of C$15 million ($14.5 million) in contrast to net income of C$123,943 in the same period last year, prior to the Lockerby Mine achieving commercial production July 1, 2012. ....
