Brazil bauxite exports rise, alumina and aluminum dip

SÃO PAULO Brazil bauxite exports increased in July compared with the same month last year, but alumina and aluminum shipments fell, according to the Brazilian trade ministry.
Brazils bauxite exports totaled 949,860 tonnes last month, up 218 percent from a year earlier thanks to increased purchases by the United States and Canada. Shipments to Ireland also increased, jumping 47.4 percent to 166,993 tonnes, but....
