Molycorp ramping up Mountain Pass Mine

NEW YORK Molycorp Inc.s Mountain Pass Mine in California is running at an annualized rate of 15,000 tonnes of rare earth oxides and the company is looking to ramp up to nameplate capacity of about 20,000 tonnes by September, according to a top executive.
"Some units (of the facility) have run above nameplate capacity," executive vice president and chief financial officer Michael Doolan told attendees at Jefferies & Co. Inc.s Global Industrial and Aerospace and Defense Conference in New York.....
