Mercator income drops on low copper, moly prices

NEW YORK Mercator Minerals Ltd.s earnings fell 60.5 percent in the second quarter on lower realized copper and molybdenum prices.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company posted net income of $8.75 million for the three months ended June 30, down from $22.14 million in the same period a year earlier despite a 4.8-percent increase in sales to $64.23 million thanks to higher shipments.....
