NAS, ATI, AK Steel boost most stainless extras

NEW YORK North American Stainless Inc. (NAS), ATI Allegheny Ludlum Corp., and AK Steel Corp. have announced increased stainless steel surcharges for September on most grades, their first raw material surcharge increases in six months.
Ghent, Ky.-based NAS set its September surcharges at 65.18 cents per pound for Type 304, up 2.6 percent from 63.54 cents in August; 43.76 cents per pound for Type 201, up 1.5 percent from 43.12 cents; and 89.07 cents per pound for Type 316, up 1....
