PITTSBURGH Metal recyclers in Bloomington, Ind., could be facing stiffer regulations, including tag-and-hold requirements, if a proposed ordinance is passed.
The updated rules, which would regulate metal recyclers under the same code as pawn shops, would require all metal dealers to be licensed, hold material for seven days before processing, increase record-keeping information and electronically report all transactions.
