Navistar swings to loss on lower North America truck sales

CHICAGO — Navistar International Corp. was awash in red ink in its fiscal third quarter. The Lisle, Ill.-based company posted a net loss of $247 million for the three months ended July 31, in contrast to net income of $84 million in the same period last year.
