US rod mill deliveries seen weak to year-end

NEW YORK U.S. wire rod mill shipments will likely be diminished through year-end in the face of stiff import competition from China, sources told AMM, and with high import volumes already booked for the balance of the year domestic mills arent optimistic.
"People have bought a lot of imports. Our lower prices wont get any additional volume," one mill source said. "People have already bought (Chinese material) through the end of the year."....
