W. Coast structural tube hike starts to erode

LOS ANGELES A $40-per-ton hike on structural steel tubing on the West Coast that appeared to be achieving some measure of success has recently met resistance.
"Pricing is starting to erode again," a local mill source said.
The degree of slippage is mixed, with some market sources saying that it applies only to larger buyers so far while others maintain it is just the beginning of a larger softening.....
