Commercial truck industry poised for sales comeback

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. The truck trailer recovery is proceeding slowly, but commercial vehicle and equipment sales gains will be supported by stronger growth in the economy next year and beyond, according to Kenneth Kremar, a principal at IHS Global Insight Inc.s Industry Practices Group.
"The fleets are getting long in the tooth," he said Sept. 10 at the Metals Service Center Institutes Economic Summit. ....
