US slab imports rebound after June fall

NEW YORK U.S. slab imports rebounded in July after a steep decline in June on increased shipments to Mobile, Ala., Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Slab imports totaled 445,486 tonnes in July, up 7.9 percent from a year-to-date low of 412,923 tonnes the previous month, according to data compiled by AMM from USA Trade Online, part of the U.S. Census Bureaus Foreign Trade division.....
