IBC expands testing of copper-based alloy

NEW YORK — IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. has developed a new copper-based alloy for the automotive industry that also is being tested for use in electronics, plastic mold injecting and welding.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it created the new alloy, which is stronger, harder and more conductive, allowing for enhanced performance and a longer lifespan, several months ago for an unspecified automotive manufacturing and casting company.....
