CHICAGO Republic Steel has restarted raw steel production on the No. 7 furnace at its Canton, Ohio, melt shop following an Aug. 2 transformer failure.
The special bar quality (SBQ) products producer is also on track to start cold commissioning later this month on its new electric-arc furnace and other steel refining and casting operations at the....
