Lead scrap prices tumble on supply glut

NEW YORK Most free-market lead scrap prices fell this week as an ongoing supply glut and lower exchange prices began to take a toll on the market, market participants said.
Lead scrap tags dropped to 82 to 84 cents per pound from 84 to 86 cents previously, and remelt lead and cable lead both moved down to 84 to 86 cents from 87 to 88 cents.....
