Bilstein’s cold mill will use NA substrate: Loik

CHICAGO Bilstein Groups cold-rolling mill in Bowling Green, Ky., will source hot-rolled substrate from U.S. and Canadian steel producers when it begins operations in a few years, Bilstein North America Inc. president and chief executive officer Mark Loik told AMM.
The mill project is still in the planning stages, particularly regarding the technologies and equipment that the company hopes to install, Loik said. As such, he cant yet estimate the mills annual tonnage capacity.....
