Cliffs to appeal dismissal of road easement application

NEW YORK Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. will appeal the dismissal of a road easement application that would allow it to build a road to its Black Thor chromite deposit in northern Ontario across mining claims staked by KWG Resources Inc.
An application by a Cliffs subsidiary to dispense with the consent of KWG subsidiary Canada Chrome Corp. in the building of the road was dismissed by the Ontario Mining and Lands Commissioner (MLC) last month (amm.com, Sept. 11).....
