Fortune Minerals halts field work at Arctos met coal site

NEW YORK Diversified resource company Fortune Minerals Ltd. has withdrawn from field work at its Arctos Anthracite metallurgical coal project in northwestern British Columbia.
The London, Ontario-based company has faced disruptive protests at the site.
Following weeks of drilling and environmental assessments, the company is withdrawing for several months during mediation between the British Columbia provincial government and the Tahltan Central Council, which represents the indigenous people who have occupied the land for centuries.....
