Alcoa promotes Graeme Bottger

CHICAGO — Alcoa Inc. has picked Graeme Bottger to be executive vice president and president of global business services, replacing Mark Davies, who is taking a position outside the company.

Bottger will oversee the Pittsburgh-based aluminum producer’s procurement, shared services and information technology organizations effective Oct. 21. He will report to Alcoa chairman and chief executive officer Klaus Kleinfeld.

Assistant controller Robert Collins will replace Bottger as vice president and controller, reporting to executive vice president and chief financial officer William Oplinger.
