No terms yet in Freeport’s copper conc negotiations

LONDON Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. hasnt yet offered firm treatment and refining charges (TC/RCs) to smelters in annual supply negotiations for copper concentrates, senior vice president of sales and marketing Javier Targhetta told AMM sister publication Metal Bulletin Oct. 10.
Targhetta, who is also chief executive officer and chairman of Freeports wholly owned smelting operation Atlantic Copper SA, said the Phoenix-based company is likely to settle negotiations before the start of the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (Cescos) Asia Copper Week in late November.....
