Union warns of strike as CN talk derail

CHICAGO Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) union leaders have warned of a potential work stoppage at Canadian National Railway Co. (CN) near the end of this month after contract negotiations stalled, but the railroad said mediated talks will begin next week.
The TCRC said it offered to continue conciliation, which ended Oct. 7, but "CNs management rejected the unions proposal and as a result there could be a strike or a lockout on Oct. 28."....
