Rio Tinto iron ore production jumps on Pilbara expansion

SHANGHAI Rio Tinto Plcs global iron ore output rose 4 percent year on year to 68.28 million tonnes during the quarter ended Sept. 30 following its Pilbara port and rail expansion.
The first shipment from the Pilbara expansion in Western Australia was made in late August, four months ahead of schedule, the London-based company said Oct. 15.....
