China’s copper, aluminum imports rise in September

SHANGHAI Chinas refined copper imports jumped to 347,305 tonnes in September, up 32.1 percent from the previous month and the highest level since February 2012.
Imports of copper ore and concentrates increased 35.3 percent to an all-time high of 1.02 million tonnes, while copper scrap shipments rose 3.3 percent to a 2013 high of 394,585 tonnes.....
