Nickel sag drives 4.9% fall in Eramet’s 3d-qtr. revenue

NEW YORK Weak nickel prices led Eramet SA to record lower revenue in the third quarter and the first nine months of the year, it said Oct. 21 in a report on its earnings results.
Paris-based Eramet posted third-quarter revenue of 754 million ($1.03 billion), down 4.9 percent from 793 million in the same period last year. The company cited a 23.5-percent decline in quarterly revenue at its Eramet Nickel division, to 150 million ($205 million) from 196 million in the year-ago period, as cause for the companywide decline in revenue.....
