Processors’ stainless scrap prices climb

NEW YORK Stainless scrap broker/processor buying prices have continued to rise thanks to the recent rally in London Metal Exchange nickel prices, with dealers and traders reporting a substantial uptick across the 300 grades.
Processor buying prices for Type 316 solids rose to a range of $1,880 to $1,925 per gross ton from $1,820 to $1,880 previously, Type 304 solids climbed to a range of $1,360 to $1,410 per ton from $1,320 to $1,365 and 304 turnings rose to a range of $1,210 to $1,255 per ton from $1,185....
