NEW YORK — Stainless steel scrap broker/processor buying prices have fallen amid declining London Metal Exchange nickel tags, reversing a trend that had seen 300-grade material increase throughout October.

AMM’s processor buying prices for Type 316 solids now stand at $1,850 to $1,905 per gross ton, down from $1,880 to $1,925 last week; 304 solids at $1,375 to $1,410 per ton, off from $1,410 to $1,455; and 304 turnings at $1,210 to $1,255 per ton, down from $1,230 to....
