Canada initiates network to build rare earths sector

NEW YORK The Canadian government has formed the Canadian Rare Earth Elements Network (Creen), a group intended to further the research and development of the countrys rare earths sector.
Creen is an industry-led, multi-stakeholder group whose goal is to produce and secure 20 percent of the global demand for separated critical rare earths products by 2018, Toronto-based Avalon Rare Metals Inc. said. The network....
