MacLean-Fogg to expand fastener capacity in Illinois

CHICAGO — MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions (MFCS), which makes fasteners for a variety of end markets, will invest in new machining equipment at its Mundelein, Ill., plant.

The company uses carbon and stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper and alloy blanks ranging from 1.75 to 14 inches in diameter from which it produces 600 million fasteners per year for the automotive, heavy-duty truck....
