Powerful storms spur power outages

CHICAGO Aluminum companies from the U.S. Midwest to the East Coast were hit by power outages resulting from powerful storms that hit the country earlier in the week.
Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands-based aluminum products manufacturer Constellium NV experienced three power outages at its plants in Novi and Van Buren, Mich., during the storms, a spokeswoman for the company said in a Nov. 20 e-mail to AMM.....
