Wire rod hikes said partially sticking

NEW YORK Wire rod prices have increased after announcements were sent out earlier this month, but most purchases arent up the full $30 per ton that most mills announced.
While buyers reported paying up to $30 per ton ($1.50 per hundredweight) more compared with last month, most told AMM that the increases were around $20 per ton for material shipping in December.
"Clearly theres an increase and everyones going to incur the increase on Dec. 1, but I dont think its matching the scrap increase and the announcements," said one wire rod buyer who is paying about $20 per ton more for most grades.....
