Haynes' earnings tumble, loss seen ahead

NEW YORK Specialty alloy producer Haynes International Inc. expects to record a net loss in the coming quarter due to challenging market conditions that have affected sales and compressed margins, the company said Nov. 22.
Kokomo, Ind.-based Haynes reported net income of $4 million in its fiscal fourth quarter ended Sept. 30, down 68.8 percent from $12.9 million in the same year-ago period, on revenue that fell 23 percent to $115.7 million from $150.3 million.....
