Tokyo Steel lifts scrap buying prices again

TOKYO Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co. Ltd. has increased its scrap purchase prices by an additional ¥500 ($5) per tonne this month for deliveries to all of its plants effective Nov. 26.
As a result, the new delivered prices of H2-grade scrap (a mix of No. 1 and No. 2 heavy melt) are ¥38,500 ($385) per tonne for seaborne arrivals and ¥38,000 ($380) per tonne for overland....
