Stainless scrap prices follow nickel lower

NEW YORK Stainless steel scrap processor buying prices fell this week as London Metal Exchange nickel prices continued to decline, maintaining a trend that seems poised to persist through the New Year.
AMMs broker/processor buying prices for Type 316 solids have tightened to $1,850 to $1,880 per gross ton from $1,850 to $1,905 last week. Type 304 solids fell to $1,345 to $1,390 per ton from $1,375 to $1,410 previously, while 304 turnings dropped to $1,165 to $1,210 per ton from....
