West Coast scrap export prices sideways

NEW YORK Export prices for containerized ferrous scrap being sold from the West Coast trended sideways the week of Nov. 25, AMM has been told.
A push in opposite directions by Asian mill buyers and U.S. exporters (amm.com, Nov. 22) as the week got under way left prices unchanged, market participants said.
Export prices to Taiwan are still reported in a range of $365 to $368 per tonne c.f.r. for an 80/20 mix of No. 1 and No. 2 heavy melt despite a drop in demand, sources said.....
