ITC rules in favor of AK Steel in trade case

NEW YORK — The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has ruled in favor of AK Steel Corp. in an anti-dumping and countervailing trade petition against imports of non-oriented electrical steel from six countries.

The ITC determined Dec. 2 there was a "reasonable indication" that the domestic industry has been "materially injured" by allegedly cut-priced imports from China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Sweden and Taiwan, as well as allegedly subsidized....
