Tokyo Steel again increases its scrap purchasing prices

TOKYO Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co. Ltd. increased its scrap buying prices by another 500 yen ($5) per tonne for deliveries to three of its plants effective Dec. 3.
As a result, the new delivered prices for H2-grade scrap (a mix of No. 1 and No. 2 heavy melt) are 39,000 yen ($380) per tonne for seaborne arrivals and 38,500 yen ($375) per tonne for overland arrivals to its Okayama and Kyushu Works; 39,000 yen per tonne for overland arrivals at....
