Nickel rally spurs stainless steel scrap prices

NEW YORK Stainless steel scrap processor buying prices strengthened this week as London Metal Exchange nickel tags rallied to their highest close since early November.
AMMs broker/processor buying price range for Type 316 solids widened to $1,850 to $1,905 per gross ton from $1,850 to $1,880 previously, Type 304 solids increased to $1,390 to $1,435 per ton from $1,345 to $1,390 and 304 turnings rose to $1,190 to $1,230 per ton from $1,165 to $1,210.....
