Atkore’s net loss widens in 4th quarter

NEW YORK Atkore International Holdings Inc. fell deeper into the red in its fiscal fourth quarter as it was hit by lower average selling prices and volumes.
The Harvey, Ill.-based company posted a net loss of $28 million for the quarter ended Sept. 27, up from a $1-million net loss a year earlier, on sales that fell 10.4 percent to $381 million. Atkore concluded fiscal 2013 with a $64-million net loss vs. an $8-million net loss the previous year on sales that....
